Making a differenceWed, 05/14/2008 - 9:28am
By: The Citizen
They may be young, but siblings Tess and Tylen Janisch aren’t waiting to make a difference in the world. Tess is 5 years old and a preschooler at First Presbyterian. She chose to cut off 15 inches of her hair to donate to Locks of Love. Tylen is 8 years old and is in second grade at Peeples Elementary School. Tylen says he loves to make paper airplanes and decided to turn his passion into profit for a good cause. At a recent garage sale, Tylen collected donations in exchange for his paper airplanes. The money raised will be sent to 9 year old Eddie Ssekade in Uganda to help him with food, clothes and school expenses. login or register to post comments
