I'm sure even criminals from clayco know that you can always find plenty of cops in or out of uniform at Long Branch, Melear's and Latitude33. Notice how some bozo will wave a gun at Dunkin' Donuts but hasn't tried the 3 places I just named?

Ohhh put a sock in it. They dont put there life on the line for me. They are actually pretty lazy. Dtf agents arent out patrolling, they dont even drive squad cars. Unmarked cars, their own hours. about all they do is, bust someone, tell all sorts of lies to get that person to say where they got it, and agree to set them up, then bust that person and so on and so forth. How is that putting their life on the line for me?

I am not sure if you are just trying to agitate dalmation, but in any event this is an asinine post. If you are not smart enough to understand that these officers are dealing with well armed, often desperate criminals who would rather shoot a cop than go to jail, then you are not smart enough to stay in the gene pool. They are protecting you simply by getting drugs off the street where you drive, walk and live. Maybe you would rather they not do their job so you can get carjacked by your friendly neighborhood meth head in need of his next hit. If you have nothing better to add, then go away.

I'm surprised that some aren't demanding that they wear coat and tie to project a "professional image" while they are grappling with dangerous suspects known for violence, up to and including killing.

Boy I looked at this photo and unless you can identify them by their butt then it really doesnt matter.

Only one officer's face can be seen. I am assuming that, based on how he is dressed, he is not part of the DTF undercover team. If he is, he needs to work on his disguise.

If you can pick these people out of a crowd based on this photo more power to you. I think they are safe.

I agree that, had there been more visible, seeing this would have not been a good idea. However, I cling to the hope that the Citizen would not have published this without some similar assessment of risk.

risk analysis on my part. I like to err on the side of caution.

What you see, as a rule, are well trained, physically fit officers (male and female), with an attitude, bulked up by weight training and the necessary vests and other equipment that they need to be as safe as possible.

Tell you what sage, if you want to test their physical fitness and willingness to enforce the law, be my guest.

I don't think marathoners are what they look for in this department.
