I'm sort of surprised The Beave hasn't picked up on yesterday's Penn interview. Anyway, would someone be nice enough to tell me exactly what Penn was talking about when he accused Obama(not a misprint...Penn accused OBAMA) of having a
“phenomenally inhuman and unconstitutional” voting record?

Huh? I know the standards for anything poltical coming from Hollyweird is super-low when your "spokespeople" are as clueless and detached from the real world as Tim "The Internets" Robbins and Alec Baldwin, but Penn may have managed to tunnel under the bar with that one.

I haven't read anything regarding Penn, but I imagine that it is in reference to Obama's support of sucking the brains out of living infants before they completely emerge from their mother's womb, and the fact that a liberal supreme court found the "right" to abortion buried in the constitution somewhere.

Not to long ago you posted, after a comment I made, that this election will be a landslide (for McCain). After the latest polls, do you think this is still the case? I thought what you said was a little short sighted before, but after the recent polls I have an even better feeling about Obama's chances. Not to mention the fact that Obama is going to have millions and millions of more dollars than McCain and do it without huge contributions from a few power interests.

I'll be checking in with you about your theory periodically.

Yeah, I still think so. Any time you have an election where race is going to be a factor, polls become very unreliable as people lie to pollsters all the time about race.

McCain is Bob Dole v2.0 and not much of a candidate, but Obama has plenty of flaws himself and basically is a pretty package of very routine and tired liberalism. At least that is what voters who vote McCain or going to CLAIM is the reason why they didn't vote Obama. Maybe they'll even believe it in their minds that it was Obama's "present" voting, increase in taxes all across the board, Rev. Wright, universal health care plan, meet with Iran but not Hamas, etc. etc. I don't think in their hearts that any of those reasons will be why they voted McCain, though. It will be because Obama is "black" and a chunk will also still believe he's a Muslim.

So, I kind of doubt it had anything to do with abortion. I'm sure he'd give high marks for those votes.
