For those that didn't come through town this weekend, there was also a lot to view and enjoy at the Holliday-Dorsey-Fife House Museum in downtown Fayetteville which is directly across from the gazebo area of Heritage Park.

In addition to several vendors selling their wares, there were Living History displays by the Veterans of Foreign Wars including a restored WWII era jeep; a Confederate campsite with tents, equipment, and a covered wagon mannned by the Living History Team of the Gen. Lafayette McLaws Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. There was also a contingent of Patriot soldiers of the American Revolution from the Marquis de La Fayette Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. Live bluegrass music was performed and the Girl Scouts were there to sell food and drink to the many hundreds of visitors that came to the musuem grounds. In addition, several ladies were in period dress and on duty giving tours of the museum itself.

It was an extremely busy weekend at the museum. Thanks to the City of Fayetteville and the Main Street Department for the hard work that made it a great success.
