• Player of the year - Kyle Adams - Whitewater - Adams, who will play for Wake Forest University in the fall, was the Region 2-AAAA player of the year and the DiVarsity Student-Athlete of the Year. He scored five goals and recorded nine assists as a defender and made the first-team all-region team and the Class AAAA all-star team.

• Co-Coaches of the year - Mike Hanie - Starr’s Mill and Shane Pulliam - Whitewater - Coach Hanie led the Panthers to an unbeaten region record and had them a penalty kick away from the AAAA semifinals, while Coach Pulliam’s Wildcats took their lumps against the best teams in the state during the regular season, made the state playoffs and went the furthest of any local soccer team this year.
