The link below is to comments made recently on a local newspaper's website in my old stomping grounds, Northern California -- a place that one would not necessarily compare to Fayette County. And yet, the HUNDREDS of comments from people reacting to black crime read just like those here.

The have-nots against the perceived haves commit the crime in our urban and not/so urban areas. This problem takes on a 'racist' tone when persons make statements as if all 'blacks' are criminals. It would be just as racist for one to assume that all child molesters are 'white' and male. In today’s world, IMO, there is no excuse for criminal behavior - but poverty, lack of education, and/or laziness may be reasons/but not excuses. There are Americans of all colors who are criminals - and in the urban areas, an inordinate number are black. It may be informative to watch CNN's special Black America - to get a better picture of what it's like to be 'black' in America.

I think it would be informative to watch a series on what it is like to be a native American in America. I think it would be informative to watch an information series on what it is like to be any and every race in America.

I would like to know what it is like to be a descendent of Irish indentured servants. When slaves were freed in the south the Irish servants were not given freedom.

Until the naacp and al and jesse stop making excuses for why blacks commit crime, the behavior will not stop. Everytime they get off via the race card it re-enforces the anti-social behavior.

If a person of any other race is arrested for a crime who marches for them? Who cries and whines and snivels for them?

Until we as a society stop accepting anti-social behavior as the norm, it will not stop.
