Clyde Fowler, Senoia, died Oct. 19, 2009. He was born Dec. 15, 1949 in Senoia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst Clyde and Geraldine Fowler, and a sister, Carol Fowler Brooks. He was a member of Oak Baptist Church and was a devoted employee of Crooks Super Market for many years. He was a graduate of East Coweta High School, where he won the state one-hundred dash and was a member of the 440 yard relay team. He also played basketball and football, where he was the leading rusher and scorer. Services were at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Holston officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include brothers, Earnest Fowler, Ray Gene and Judy Fowler, Robert James Fowler, and Bruce Fowler; and sisters, Joan and Marvin King, Jewell Fowler, Sharon and Rufus Carlton, and Stephanie Fowler. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge. login or register to post comments
