Quincy Martin Bohannon, Newnan, died Oct. 11, 2009. He was born Aug. 29, 1956 in Newnan to the late Willie "Skeet" and Eudora Bohannon. He was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Ruth Hill Elementary, Central and Newnan High schools. He was a defensive tackle on the Newnan Cougars football team, recording the most tackles for many years. He was elected president of the Student Council, and after high school attended Knoxville College on a full athletic football scholarship. His favorite pastimes included cooking, singing, and watching football. Services were at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with interment at Sunset Cemetery. Survivors include brothers, Clarence and Steward Bohannon, Newnan, and Anise and Kimberly Bohannon, Newnan; a niece, Amber Bohannon, Atlanta; fhree uncles; five aunts; and one cousin. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge. login or register to post comments
