Oh, and the House vote on this exercise in dishonest government will come as early as Saturday.

Why does this not surprise me. Gee, do you think the President might veto the whole thing because it would amount to a middle-class tax increase which he promised would not happen.

Pelosi is the biggest liar in Congress which is quite a statement with Harry Reid as the competition. She was asked September 24th if she was committed to posting the final House bill online 72 hours prior to the vote. Her reply was, "absolutely, without question". Now her staff is saying what she meant was, "the pledge was to have a managers amendment online for 72 hours". Legislating the demise of the country with impunity......

You wouldn't read all the legaleeze if they gave you 172 hours!

Even I have read it over the last three months!

Amendments won't amount to much and will be put back next year.

I never said I didn't know what is in it. It's a pig in a poke that will give more entitlements, secure long-term votes, make more people dependent on the government, destroy the free market in health care, and oh yeah, bankrupt the country for years. Did that cover it all?

I noticed you didn't bother to address the real point of the post which was what liars Pelosi and Reid are. But then, what could you really say about that?

They had their chance to make something affordable---they didn't and become crooks.

As in all things, sometimes it is necessary to "weed out" bad things. The Health Insurance companies and the whole system, deserve to be weeded." That doesn't make us socialistic! It makes us good stewards of our freedom.
They, like the banks and AIG's, had their chance
to be honest and serving, they weren't.

Out they go.
