Can we limit the number of posts please?

I few of you posters need to get a room. Or better yet a Myspace website so you can endlessly talk about the most silliest of things. I just wish a third of your comments were of substance. Instead, they are nothing more the ramblings that my middle schooler does on her instant messenger.

Please, Please limit your comments in either the number or increase the quality. They are absurd. Seriously, get a myspace and post to your hearts content, . . .

or help make this third rate newspaper a second rate paper...."oh my god, we can now talk for 2 minutes on subjects not previously placed on the agenda, STOP THE PRESSES.!!!"

"oh my God, an Email was just sent to me, and said, that Mars was gonna appear larger than the moon.... STOP THE PRESSES"

"oh my God, I heard reports of some of our elected officials involved in either illegal or unethical practices, yawn. . . . lets stop the presses and just chatise them for not getting along".

I know this blog will result in some negatives, but hey. At least its better than what this paper prints.

It is so common to have posters that constantly jump off topic. But it is not good for discussion.

Most forums have Moderators and Admin that will put a stop to off topic nonsense outside of forums set up for nonsense and anything goes Chat.

I agree. Serious topics should not get mucked up with nonsense.

From the rules Topic Starter I saw, the Web Master here may be moving toward having Mods.

1st Amendment Rights do not apply to private companies. Then again, if we get the "fairness doctrine" then we will have no more 1st Amendment, because the Government will have to sanction the speech to see that its fair.

You liberals are pathetic. I want you to have the right to speak. I know the more you talk, the more likely it is for intelligent and learned people to realize what dingbats you guys are.

So please, don't stop writing. Since 1992, B.C. (Before Clinton) until now, our Country has moved from majority Demoratic controlled State Houses and Senates, State Governorships, U.S. Senate and Congress, and of Course President, to a decidedly majority of Republicans in all of those positions.

Plus I know all I need to. I am well taken care of because of the advances government has made for the people.

There you go again. The mentality the government is all serving is tantamount to Socialism. Are you a Socialist? You say the government has made advances for the people, but yet you loathe the leaders? Kind of contradictory, huh?

In another post on this same issue, you said every voice should be heard. How are voices censored? There are talk radio shows for both sides and some other point of views too. Anyone can post here, of course within the guide lines established by the owners.
