Doris Frances Watson, 89, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away on November 29, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest “Bogan” and Sally Elizabeth Williams; her husband of 65 years, Fred Watson; sisters, Margaret Burdette, Dorothy Burdette, Kathleen Bray; and brother Leonard Williams.

She was the sweet, loving Christian mother of her sons, Fred Watson, Jr., Fayetteville, and Jon (Cindy) Watson, Fayetteville; her daughters Gloria (Charles) Danzwith, Fayetteville, and Patricia (Larry) Pap, Thomaston. She is also survived by her brother, Earnest “Jr.” (Carol) Williams, Tyrone; sister Evelyn Williams, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jonathan and Nicholas Watson, Anna Munzenmaier, Sam O’Neal, Ben Andruske, and Diana Danzwith; five great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a 1943 graduate of Fayette County High School and attended Georgia Baptist School of Nursing, where she received a RN degree. She rendered a lifetime of nursing service and was a longtime, faithful member of Bible Baptist Church of Hampton, Ga.

The funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga., with Pastor Tim Lee of Bible Baptist Church of Hampton officiating. Burial followed at Camp Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ga. The family received friends on Monday evening, December 1, 2014.
