A 13-year-old Booth Middle School student was struck by two vehicles at Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City after 3:30 Friday afternoon.

He was reported in stable condition Saturday, police said.

Peachtree City Police Department spokesperson Odilia Bergh said the teenage male and a couple of friends were crossing Hwy. 54 when the incident occurred.

The teen was crossing the roadway against the light and was struck by the first vehicle and was thrust over the hood. The teen was struck by a second vehicle and became trapped underneath it, Bergh said.

The boy was in and out of consciousness at the scene and was airlifted by a medevac helicopter to Egleston Children’s Hospital, said Bergh.

Bergh said the drivers of the vehicles are not being charged.
